It’s possible that you’ve noticed the massive interest in the use of essential oils among health professionals, scientists and even some medical doctors. More and more people are looking for natural alternatives to health care and for good reason. We absorb more toxins and chemicals in our bodies in one day than our grandparents did in their lifetime – yikes! Increasing toxins in our systems contributes to illness as our bodies do not recognize them. It makes for an unhappy system.

When we transition from chemical-laden products to natural alternatives, our bodies take notice, and we start to feel better. Pesky ailments disappear, seasonal threats decrease significantly, head tension is relieved, and the list goes on.

What Are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds that are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and being beautifully fragrant to people, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment (I’ve heard Cleopatra was a fan!), and health care practices.

How Are They Used?

Essential oils are used for a wide range of emotional and physical wellness applications. They can be used a single oil at a time or in complex blends in one of three ways: aromatically, topically or internally (make sure they are 100% pure therapeutic grade).

How Can They Help?

The applications for essential oils are endless. Among many other things, essential oils can help:

  • support your immune system,
  • relieve respiratory issues,
  • provide stress relief,
  • reduce symptoms of hormonal imbalances,
  • relieve muscle aches and pains,
  • relieve digestive struggles,…and so much more!

I have experienced the powerful impact of essential oils in my day-to-day living from household cleaning to beauty regimen to general health and wellness for me and my family and I am happy to share my experiences with you.

If you would like to experience the beautiful, natural aromatic effects of essential oils, I am available for hands-on classes in office settings, private small groups and individual presentations (by phone, skype or in person).
